Legal review and the final operator details are required before these terms can govern a production service.
Adult accounts only
Accounts are for adults aged 18 or over. A guardian is responsible for the child profiles they create and must have authority to provide the information and images they submit. Adult players are responsible for the accuracy of the profile they manage for themselves.
Accurate, current information
Players and guardians must keep football and availability information accurate. Club users must keep team, vacancy, trial, venue and safeguarding details current and must not misrepresent affiliation, accreditation or club authority.
Club access and credentials
A claimed profile, approved Grassroots Connect account and governing-body credential are separate states. Platform approval does not certify coaching quality, safeguarding compliance or affiliation.
Recruitment contact
Adult players handle their own club contact. For an under-18 player, the parent or guardian handles communication with the club. Users must not contact a junior player directly, evade a guardian, collect unnecessary information or move prohibited content into another channel.
Acceptable use
- Do not harass, discriminate against or deceive another user.
- Do not publish private child or adult contact information.
- Do not scrape, bulk export or reconstruct private profiles.
- Do not upload illegal, abusive or rights-infringing content or images.
- Do not bypass verification, MFA, capability or acting-club controls.
Moderation and suspension
Grassroots Connect may restrict, suspend or remove listings and accounts to protect users, investigate reports, preserve platform security or meet legal duties. Platform action does not replace an official safeguarding or law-enforcement process.
Beta availability
The beta is planned to be free and approval-gated. Features may change, pause or remain unavailable while privacy, safeguarding, licensing or operational launch gates are incomplete.
